Update on our new admin arrangements 13th March, 2009
As you know, Shana our administrator is leaving us at the end of the month. So first things first, I would like to thank her on our behalf for all her work to date.
Obviously we are keen to get alternative arrangements in place and a big ‘thank you’ to all those of you who kindly responded to my appeal for ideas. We discussed the options at the last Steering Committee meeting and, as this is such an important area for the work of the BRF, we decided that it would be better not to rush the process.
As a result, we decided to put in place a temporary administrative arrangement for about 6 months, whilst we explore/pursue the possible options more fully.
I am very pleased, therefore, to let you know that Sarah Wilson has agreed to take on this work for us from 1 April. Sarah is currently working as an Administrator for Jeremiah’s Journey a children’s bereavement service in the South West, but she will do this work in her own time.
She will use her home address for written communication, and we have set up an email account that is independent of both home and work. However, phone calls can be made to her work number, but if possible, please keep these to a minimum! Her details are as follows:
