Professor of Medical Sociology, Queen Mary, University of London
The conference will provide an opportunity to examine
contemporary attitudes to death and bereavement in the media.
Professor Seale will discuss some of his research into death and dying,
and will explore the use (and abuse?) of his work by the media,
particularly that relating to euthanasia and assisted suicide.
